Lived in Van Nuys my whole life; finally tried Macleod for the first time and 10/10 would go again. Reminds me of Angel City Brewery when I briefly lived in DTLA. Beers? Good. Pizza? Delicious. They weren't stingy with the pepperonis. Games? You betcha. Parking? There's a handful out front, if you're lucky. But parking down the street and doing a little cardio never hurt anybody. For all you parents, we took our 3 and 6 year olds and they loved this place because of the pepperoni pizzas and foosball. Friendly staff and patrons, and the ambience was ambinice. And for all the degenerates out there, Macleod's like the Topstep of breweries, while others are like Apex Trader Funding -- if you know, you know.

I love this place. It is located in the middle of a bunch of tow yards. You can play darts, order pizza and drink a ton of beer. The food is fantastic and cheap!

A hidden gem in the valley, Macleod consistently serves up good vibes and great beers. I've been going to Macleods just over a year and a half - every time I visit friends in the area. We head over for whatever game they have on, popcorn and pizza. (So happy the pizzas are back!). My personal faves are Deal with the Devil, any of the hazies - Calvert Crush or Haka on Hazeltine, and Saticoy Sour or Cran Nuys. Maybe you're thinking, "You're just listing everything (eye-roll)," but I can assure you Macleods has a ton more for you. Dog and kid-friendly, this is just the chillest vibe you could hope for. Parking is tough; we usually walk over but also recommend Ubering.

Been coming here for years through all their ups and downs. Best brewery in the valley, hands down. Delicious, crushable cask ales and legitimately some of the best pizza in town. Never change, my friends. SFV Macleod's, our neighborhood watering hole.
